·        This is a reminder to those students who received a notice from the Health Unit regarding your immunizations.  The Health Unit requires that you return the notice to the school in the box that is found in the main office.  These forms need to be updated with your immunization information.  Failure to return these forms to the Health Unit will result in a school suspension.  Please be sure to do this as soon as possible and before the end of this semester.


·        Just a reminder to the members of the girls’ volleyball teams that they are to be released at 1:55 today to catch their bus for their games at Vista.

·        Attention Grade 10' and 11 students who are interested in attending the May trip to Ottawa and Toronto. Spots are filling fast! We have extended the offer one more week due to the snow days and Christmas holidays. Only SEVEN seats left! We will allow interested grade 11s the opportunity to go as well. See Ms. Marentette in 202 for a flyer. Spots ARE secured for those who have already paid their deposit.  Final numbers are due this Friday . Don’t lose out on a great trip!

·        Please release the curling team at 2:00 today for their game at Beachgrove against Leamington. Team members are: Elise Brunet. Emma Harris. Jack Wirag. Joel Badour. Logan Delorey. thank you

·        We want to congratulate all members of the swim team for their success this season and at WECSSA yesterday. What a great team of dedicated students through injuries, difficulties and dedication to practice and their personal best growth. We want to thank all swimmers who participated this year. All swimmers did their best at WECSSA and represented Villanova so well. The following swimmers achieved success that will take them through to SWOSSA:

·        Rock of Ages cast. The singing rehearsal has been cancelled but the Acting rehearsal is still on.

·        Attention Grade 10' and 11 students who are interested in attending the May trip to Ottawa and Toronto. Spots are filling fast! ·        Last night the Junior Boys Basketball team played Tecumseh Vista in our gym. Though the team played strong defense throughout the game, poor outside shooting and rebounding led to the boys suffering their first defeat of the season by the score of 37-28. The boys are now in second place in Tier 2.

·        There is a junior concert band rehearsal this Monday after school. New members are welcome. See Mrs. Brunet in room 106 if you are interested in joining for the second semester.

·         Last night's curling game against Kingsville, our Wildcats lost by 1 Rock in the last minutes of the game. The first game of the season truly had all spectators on their tiptoes and screaming in anticipation. Practice tonight team.

·         The weight room will be closed after school today.

·         Last night the Jr. Boys basketball improved their record to 5 and 0 to remain in first place with a 49-43 win at Kingsville. The boys were led by Max Gebrail whose 3 point play with under a minute left sealed the win. Practice tonight immediately after school. 

·         There is a jazz band rehearsal tonight after school. Senior concert band is cancelled tomorrow. Rehearsals will resume next week.

·         Good luck curling team as they play Kingsville today at Roseland. Play hard team!
